Gratitude

Anyone & everyone that knows me, knows that I'm BIG on thank you notes.  If someone is nice enough to give you a gift, then take 5 minutes out of your day & show your gratitude & appreciation for it.  I know not everyone feels that way, but I sure do, and you better believe that a thank you note will be written for every Christmas present, birthday gift, etc.

And it's never to early to teach my girls this either!

Today Kennedy Rae wrote her very first thank you note.  It was to Auntie Rae Rae, Uncle Brian & Greyson for having her come visit for a couple of days.

I am so proud of my baby girl for writing her very first thank you note all by herself, but after seeing her completed note, I realized that she a) really needs lines to write on,
b) we need to work on s-p-a-c-i-n-g between words & c) when she gets bored, she cannot
doodle/scribble on the note.

Auntie Rae Rae, Uncle Brian & Greyson--I hope you can decipher what it says!  But if not, please know that she says THANK YOU for everything you did for her during her stay with you!!!

  1. I couldn't agree with you more, Jessica -- this is SUCH an important habit to instill at an early age. I think Kennedy did a FANTASTIC job on her note! I'm sure her appreciation won't be lost on Aunt Rae Rae and Uncle Brian. I know if I were here aunt, this would be tucked away and treasured for years to come!
