Our flight left Punta Cana yesterday at 11:30 am. While we were very sad to be leaving this amazing place...
...we could not wait to get home to our girls!!!
We had another long day ahead of us. An almost 6-hour flight to Dallas (thanks to a stop in Florida for fuel), followed by a 4-hour flight to Seattle. It was a day that seemed like would never end, but we couldn't help but reminisce throughout the day about the amazing trip that we had just been on.
We finally landed in Seattle at about 10:15 pm, but still had another hour drive home. But when we finally did get home, we were so excited to see these cute welcome home signs from the girls.
And as promised, we woke each of them up full of hugs & kisses!
And contrary to Kennedy's pictures, she was super excited to see us! She even convinced Daddy to sleep with her for the night. Side note: I have no idea what she does with those Barbies in bed at night! It looks like they may have a little to much night time fun! Ha!
This morning we were back to our Daddy & Mommy roles. The good, some bad, and even a little ugly. Nothing says Welcome Home like a timeout for both girls at some point in the day today, right? Regardless, we are both thrilled to be back home where we belong, with our two adorable little girls.
Mom & Dad--we cannot thank you enough for watching the girls while we were away! They had a blast with the two of you, and all day today have been telling us about all of the fun things they did with you...and all of their special treats they got too! :) We were able to fully enjoy our vacation because we knew the two of you were loving on our girls & taking great care of them. We miss you already & cannot wait to see you again in just a few short weeks! We love you!!!

I'm glad you guys had a great time. I've always wanted to go to Punta Cana! My hubby just asked me the other day how old I think this new baby will be before we treat ourselves to a beach vacation. Whenever it does happen, I definitely think it will be to Punta Cana!

I'm sure your baby girls are beside themselves to have Mommy and Daddy back home! Hope y'all have a great week readjusting to normal life.
