Get Fit Friday

Week #7 is just about in the books!  I cannot believe next week is my Recovery Week again & then it is on to Phase 3!  Wow!  Time flies when you are having fun! :)

First things first, my belly pictures.  Slowly but surely, that belly fat is going away & my abs are making their appearance.  They've been hidden for a very long time!  Ha!

It's been a good week, however, I've decided to change things up a bit.  I just don't feel like I'm getting a great workout on my cardio days (Cardio X, Kenpo X).  And since Marc started doing a hybrid of P90X & Insanity, I thought I'd give it a go too.  So on the days I'm supposed to be doing cardio, in place of a P90X disc, I am going to do a workout from the Insanity program.

Today was my first Insanity workout, and OMG, they don't call it Insanity for nothing!  That program is insane!!!  But in a good way...if insane can ever be good.  I've never sweat so hard in a 40-minute workout like I did today.  But let me tell you, it felt so good!

I know that these Insanity workouts are going to help keep transforming my body, so for the next 6 weeks I'm going to be doing a hybrid of P90X & Insanity like Marc is doing.  Crazy?  Maybe.  But I'm ready to kick it up a notch for this last month & a half.

This week I was introduced to Chobani yogurt, and oh my word, I am in love!

Apparently I've been living under a rock, though, because when I posted about my new found love on Facebook, almost everybody under the sun shared their love for this wonderful yogurt too!  I love how rich & creamy it is, but what I really love is how much protein is in one little container!  With about 160 calories & 14 grams of protein, these little tastes of heaven are a perfect snack!

Some of my Facebook friends, however, do not care of Chobani & say that Fage Greek Yogurt is there absolute favorite, so when I was at the grocery store today I picked one up to try.  I'll let you know which one I prefer better!

Do you eat Greek Yogurt?  If so, which brand & flavors do you prefer?

Each day, I'm feeling leaner, stronger & better about my body.

And for that, I am happy!  Very, very happy!

Only 58 days until Punta Cana!!!

  3. You have GOT to try Trader Joe's plain greek yogurt. For one cup it is 120 calories and 22 grams of protein!!!!!!! LOVE it. I eat it for breakfast with honey and tons of cinnamon, a little bit of granola on top and a sliced banana. Delicious!!!!
