Easter Weekend

We just got back from a great weekend at my parent's house! And we got to spend it with these three wonderful people too!

Yep!  My sister, brother-in-law & adorable nephew came down for the weekend too!  It was so nice to not only spend time with my parents, but also my sister & her family too!  

We got to my parent's house on Friday afternoon & the weather was gorgeous!  So the girls immediately headed outside to burn off some energy & play with all of Grammy & Papa's toys.

We called it an early night as both girls did not take a nap & were exhausted by 7:00 pm.  Plus they needed to get their beauty rest for the next morning's festivities.

Saturday morning was Roseburg's annual Easter egg hunt.  The girls participate every year, but I feel like this year's hunt was the biggest yet.  There were so many kids!  The girls had fun & each got a basket full of eggs.

Greyson is still a little to young to hunt for eggs, but he enjoyed hanging out watching the girls..and looking way to cool in his shades!

And after seeing Sunday's paper, it looks like Marc's famous!  Can you spot him?!

After the girls collected all of their eggs, we headed back to Grammy & Papa's house to dye some Easter eggs.  I'm not sure what we did wrong, but the majority of their eggs turned out some shade of pink.  Even when the eggs were dyed in orange, blue & green.  Good thing that pink is one of their favorite colors!  Ha!

The weather was beautiful yet again, so after rest time the girls & Papa went out side for a good ole' fashioned squirt gun fight.  The girls had gotten little squirt guns in their goodie bags at Kennedy's birthday party last week & they started the fight with Papa then, but Papa told them to bring them down for Easter so that he would have his squirt gun to.  And boy did he!  The girls weren't' too sure about his super jumbo gun...until they got their little hands on it!

And then it was time to head out front for more fun in the Barbie jeep, and with Auntie Rae Rae & Greyson!

What a fun afternoon outside!  The beautiful weather gets me so excited for sun & warmer temperatures here in Washington!

Sunday brought Easter & we all got up bright & early to go to church.  And then it was back home to hunt for eggs & Easter baskets.  The Easter Bunny spoiled the girls & they loved all of their Easter goodies! Thank you Papa & Grammy!!!

And my mom made a delicious Easter meal!  Ham, potato casserole, corn & asparagus, homemade dinner rolls, jello, applesauce & a cake that was to die for!  It was a Pinterest recipe she found recently.  Look how beautiful it was!

Dad & Mom/Papa & Grammy--thank you for a wonderful weekend!  We had such a nice time spending time with you & the girls had a blast too!  Thank you, Papa, for having the squirt gun fight with them.  I think that was their favorite part of the weekend!  They cannot stop talking about it & cannot wait until you come again in a few weeks & have another squirt gun fight with them!  Mom, your food was amazing & we really appreciate all of the time & effort you put into making our visit just perfect!

Rachael, Brian & Greyson--thank you for joining us this past weekend too!  It was wonderful to see you again...twice in two weeks!  And we are excited to see you again at the end of April too!  Lots of B, R & G time!!!  Greyson is such a good baby & is too cute for words!  Anytime you need a little break, you know where to send him! :)  The girls love their uncle, auntie & baby cousin, and cannot wait to see you guys again soon!
