Something must be going on because the girls have been C-R-A-Z-Y this past week! Lots of fighting, tantrums & tears. My girls are not perfect by any means, but this week their behavior has been extra naughty.
The other night I told the girls I was making Macaroni & Cheese for dinner. They were super excited & could not wait for dinner time to arrive. Well, as soon as they sat down for dinner & realized it wasn't Kraft Macaroni & Cheese but a much healthier (and yummy) version, they lost it. Ashby quickly got out of her chair & went on full tantrum mode.
And seeing as I'm really trying hard to work on my patience with the girls (and Marc), I simply laughed at hers and Kennedy's antics...and took some pictures. :)

Baby girl was NOT loving that I was taking pictures of her. She kept turning her back to me every time I tried to snap a picture. Ha! I just wanted to show her, though, how ridiculous she was being!
And let's now forget Kennedy. Although she didn't have a big ole' tantrum like Ashby, she wasn't happy about dinner either & was letting us know about it.
We were finally able to calm both of them down & convince them that the Macaroni & Cheese was yummy & that they should try it. Eventually they did & wouldn't you know it, they loved it! Ashby even asked for seconds!
Silly girls! All of that fussing & tears for nothing!
And in case you are wondering what Macaroni & Cheese that I made. It was this one & it was delicious!
Got to love parenthood sometimes!

Wow this totally sounds like my girls this week. They've been acting the same way. Crazy kids
ReplyDeleteMaybe it's Spring Fever because my girls are acting the same way! We've had an extra dose of sassiness going around lately. The Mac & Cheese looks yummy!
ReplyDeleteHa! Well I think I'm with the girls on this one. From a young age no one could mess with my cheap Kraft mac and cheese LOL. I think I might have cried too :-)
