We had a great Valentine's Day!
It was a perfect day spent with the three most important people in my life!
Sure, Marc had to work all day, Kennedy had school, at one point in the day we had a non-napping, overtired, cranky 3-year old & there might have been a little disagreement argument between hubby and wife, but overall it was a wonderful day spent with my three special Valentines.
The girls made Daddy a special Valentine's card.
And Marc & I exchanged cards as well. His was a very sweet & loving card. And mine? A card that fits me to a 'T' and one that I could not resist getting for him. :)
We celebrated Valentines a little early by going out to eat on Sunday. We were only gone for a couple of hours, but it was so nice to get some alone time with my man. Here is a picture that Kennedy took of us before our date.
Yesterday morning I tried to get all cutesy with the girls & dye their milk and yogurt pink in honor of Valentine's Day, but they wanted nothing of it. This is all I get could them to agree with.

The girls put on their special outfits we bought as a surprise to Daddy & we had a little photo shoot before taking Kennedy to school. One where I had to take a million pictures in order to get just one good one without Kennedy's eyes closed. Also one where I had to bribe them with a special treat in order for them to cooperate. Sounds fun, doesn't it?!
Kennedy enjoyed a Valentine's party at school. And on the way home from school we dropped off some Valentine's Day treats to their friends and then the girls helped me make mini cupcakes.
Daddy came home a bit early to spend time with his three loves, & for dinner we made heart shaped pizzas. Or I should say tried to make heart shaped pizzas. This is as close to a heart as I could get.
The pizzas & cupcakes were a hit with the girls! I think they would like Valentine's Day to be every day of the week! Ha!
The rest of the evening was spent trying to get Ashby to stop crying (can we say tired?!) & get through bath & bed time routine in one piece. I think everyone was happy to see 7 pm roll around! :)
But overall it was a great day filled with LOVE!
I hope you all had a LOVELY day too!

We had LOTS of crying and tantruming during our dinner last night haha--too "exciting" of a day for a toddler I think! :-)
ReplyDeleteLove that they lived on the wild side with their heart toast hehe
It must have been a day for crying. After nap time Keira cried off & on till bedtime. The girls look to cute in their matching shirts
ReplyDeleteAdd me to the list of fussy-baby moms on Valentine's Day! :) But that picture was worth the photo shoot, I'm sure!!!
ReplyDeleteYour VDay crafts turned out WAY cute! And the girls could not be any more adorable in their VDay outfits, OMG!!! Thanks for stopping by....new follower and love your blog!
