Daddy's Home!

After being out of town on business for 5 days, I am thrilled to announce that Daddy's home!  He came home yesterday afternoon & the girls (and mama) were thrilled to see him walk through the door at lunch time.  We are used to him being gone for 2-3 days at a time, but not for almost a week.  We missed him so much!  

As promised, Daddy brought Ashby her special surprise for doing so good at gymnastics this past week. She was so excited to play with her new Princess activity book that he got her.

And not wanting Kennedy to feel left out, he brought her home an American Airlines airplane set.  She loved it!  I joked with Marc that these were perfect gifts for our oh so different little girls.  Princesses for one daughter & airplanes for the other!  Ha!

Tonight Daddy & his girls got all dressed up for the Daddy Daughter Dance that is held every year in our town.  The girls were so excited & could not stop talking about going to the dance with Daddy all day long.  

Last year, only Kennedy was old enough to go.

But not this year!  Ashby was so excited that she finally got to go with her sissy & Daddy!

I'm sure they are having a wonderful time together!

I miss them, but I have to admit, I sure am loving the peace & quiet tonight! Sometimes a mama just needs a night to herself! :)
