Almost A Foot!

If it seems like the only thing I'm talking about lately is SNOW, it is because I am.  You see, we NEVER get snow like this in Washington.  So for us to almost have a foot of snow is unheard of!  This big snow storm has brought out the kid in all of us me.  So please the happy dances, squeals & excitement you have heard from me these past few days!

This morning we woke up to quite a bit more snow.

Hubby went out with our pretty purple ruler & it looks like we have 11" inches of snow now!  Wow!  Almost a foot!  Like I said, this is crazy for Washington!

It's been pretty cold & windy today, so the girls & I decided to keep warm and stay inside.  This is pretty much what our morning looked like.

It's been a pajama wearing, book reading, toy playing, mess making day.  And if you ask me, it's been a PERFECT day!

And as I sit here on the couch, in front of a warm fire, my wonderful hubby is doing this:

It looks like the snow is going to subside in the next day or so & then we've got our normal winter weather returning.  Rain.  Blah.
