Kennedy woke up yesterday not feeling well. She was coming down with a cold & had a fever on & off all day. My school loving/non-cuddly child told me she didn't want to go to school & snuggled on my lap all day. She clearly was not feeling well.
She spent the day alternating between the couch & my bed. No energy to play with her little sister. All she wanted to do was lay down & watch TV. And she even took a 2-hour nap at rest time. If you know my daughter, she never naps anymore. Unless she is sick. Yesterday was one of those days.
After a dose of Tylenol & a good nap, she seemed to be feeling a bit better. She still wasn't up for playing, but no longer burst into tears saying she didn't feel well. She even felt up to playing Wii with Daddy after bath time.
She woke up this morning saying she was feeling much better. Praying she is on the road to recovery...and that the rest of us are spared. Which I doubt will happen. But one can hope, right?!
