Friday Randoms

* It was Picture Day at Kennedy's preschool today.  Kennedy is still in the 'awkward smile' phase so I am crossing my fingers that the photographer works her magic like she did last year, and produces a beautiful school picture!

* Ashby is such a cheese ball when she takes pictures!  I love it because, unlike her sister, I can usually get a great shot right away.  But sometimes she really cheeses it up for the camera & goes a little overboard.  Here is an example.

* I received some great comments & suggestions through Facebook regarding Kennedy's sassiness & appropriate disciplinary actions.  Marc & I have decided that there is now a no tolerance policy & the first scream, loud 'ugh', or disrespect out of her mouth she will be sent to her room for a 5-minute timeout. No raising voices, just a simple 'to your room for 5 minutes.' Well, the first day she was in her room for a total of 35 minutes. But the next two days it was only 5 & 10 minutes respectively.  It is so nice to not get mad, yell & threaten a ton of times!  I think little Miss Sass gets the hint that we are serious & aren't going to tolerate her naughty behavior anymore.

Doesn't this picture just shout SASS?!

* Papa & Grammy are are coming to visit this weekend and we cannot wait!  They are coming to watch Kennedy play in her soccer game tomorrow & of course to get their 'Sugar' (what Grammy calls the girls) fix for a couple of days.  And we can't wait to celebrate Grammy's birthday one last time!  It's going to be a great weekend!

* Proud Mommy moment!  Yesterday, Kennedy read If You Give A Pig A Pancake all by herself!  She needed help with just a few words and that was it!  Unreal!  When did my baby get so big?!  When her babysitter, Jenny, asked her how she learned to read like that Kennedy quickly replied, 'because I'm smart!'.  Ha!  She sure isn't humble!

* Ashby was helping me sort, bag & tag some Scentsy goodies while Kennedy was at school.  She was playing with all of the tissue paper, ribbon & bags while I was putting things together.  Before I knew it, she was in the mist of all of the bags.  It's like a Where's Waldo?! picture!

Happy Friday!
