Grandpa & Grandma's Visit

From Kennedy & Ashby...

We are so sad that Grandpa & Grandma have to leave today.  They came all the way from Las Vegas to come see us.  Did you know that they drove in Grandpa's Red Candy Apple Camaro all the way down here?  We think it took like 18 hours to get here!  That is a long time to drive in a car!  I don't think we would like to be in a car that long.  But Grandma said that it was fun to take a road trip with Grandpa & the drive down here was really pretty.  We have had so much fun with them & we don't want them to go home.  Here are some fun things that we did while they were here.

We went to the zoo!

We played at the park!

We went to the Farmer's Market & had our face painted!

We had a fun 4th of July!

We splashed around in the pool!

We went to Tolmie State Park!

We got our toenails painted (for the very first time)!

And we took lots & lots of pictures!

Grandpa & Grandma--thank you so much for coming to visit us!  We had so much fun with you!  Thank you for playing with us, reading us books, buying us ice cream, suckers & toys, letting us play with your iPhone & camera, & for giving us lots & lots of hugs and kisses while you were here!  We miss you already & cannot wait to see you again soon!  Drive safe back to Las Vegas and Grandpa, don't drive too fast in your Candy Apple Red Camaro!  We love you!

Love,
Kennedy Rae & Ashby Grace (and daddy & mommy too)

  1. What a joy to see all the pics! Those are surely the cutest little girls on the planet, and it's not very hard for me to imagine them in action.

I noticed your lush hanging baskets in the porch and look out my office window to see my dried up petunia backets, trying to hang on. One just cannot water enou to keep everything green in this heat. I once lived in Spokane and enjoyed the flowers so much that summer.

We are managing, living each day as it comes, having much to be thankful for, always loving each of you.
