Marc & I had a wonderful anniversary! It was spent with 2 little girls that we love & adore. What could be better than that??!!
We actually went out on Friday night for a little date to celebrate our anniversary. We went out to dinner & a movie. Dinner was Mexican (my choice) & Marc got to choose the movie. He picked Bridesmaids.
What a great movie! I thought it was going to be a 'chick flick' & was worried that Marc wouldn't like it. While it did have some girly parts, the movie was hilarious & was appealing to both women & men! Marc actually said this was the best movie he had seen in a long time. If you are looking for a good movie to see, I highly recommend this one!
We got done with dinner early & had some time to spare, so we decided to take some self portraits.
{Awww}
{Good to see we can still have fun together}
Sunday, our actual anniversary, we didn't have too many plans. It was supposed to be a beautiful day, though, so we had intentions of spending the the majority of the day outside! We started the morning with a yummy breakfast. I made a delicious French toast recipe that I had found online (I'm going to post about it on Foodie Friday). It was so good, but super rich. It actually tasted more like a coffee cake than French toast. It was super yummy!
After getting ready for the day we headed out to our local Farmer's Market. We enjoyed walking around looking at the different booths & the girls got some balloon animals. Kennedy chose an elephant & Ashby chose a kitty cat. The balloon maker decided they both needed to be on leashes, so I present to you the elephant & kitty on a leash!
Which in this picture, you can only see the 'leash'. Oops. But there are still 2 very cute girls you can look at! :)
The rest of the morning & afternoon were pretty much spent outside. We ran some errands looking for trees/bushes for our newly re-done backyard (pictures to come), finally planted our vegetable & fruit garden, went to the park & pretty much just enjoyed the sunshine & warmth.
And as I'm typing this, Marc ran out to pick us up a sweet treat from Dairy Queen! Couldn't ask for a better way to end a great 'anniversary day'!
Marc--thank you for an amazing 7 years! You are an amazing husband & father! You are so unbelievably good with the girls & they are so lucky that they have you as their daddy. Your drive & work ethic is unbelievable, and I am so proud of the accomplishments & professional growth you have had at work. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to be able to stay home with the girls. I am blessed to be your wife & I look forward to many more wonderful years together. I love you always & forever.
Love,
Me

Looks like you two had a lovely couple of days! Happy (Belated) Anniversary!
