* We had our neighborhood garage sale on Saturday. Weather forecast called for rain in the morning, but we lucked out & the rain held off during the sale. Lots of threatening rain clouds, but luckily no rain. We had a pretty good turnout & made over $200. I guess the saying is true--one man's junk is another man's treasure! I got rid of lots of junk!
One of our many tables...
* A few things that I am shocked did not sell at the garage sale was a gently used exersaucer, Baby Bjorn & shopping cart cover. All in excellent condition & priced to sell. I was really surprised that nobody wanted them. Any takers from my bloggy friends & family? :)
* We took the girls to see the Easter Bunny on Saturday afternoon. They did great, with no tears at all! And an added bonus, a cute picture! Yay!
* I had the pleasure (NOT) of cleaning all 3 of our bathrooms this weekend. A chore that I despise doing!
* While I was cleaning Marc took the girls out on the town, i.e. to Toys 'R Us & Home Depot. And he let the girls do something mommy would NEVER let them do (because I'm a bit of a germaphobe). Can you guess what they did?
Yep, they got to ride in the fire truck at Toys 'R Us and have fun in the special driving cart at Home Depot. Hope you had fun girls, cause this is something you will only be doing with daddy! :)
* The girls were eating breakfast this morning & Kennedy called for one of us to come quick because 'sissy had a big booger'. This is what I walked in to see:
Why yes, Kennedy, Ashby sure does have a big ole' booger hanging out of her nose. Ewww. I quickly got rid of it for her...but not before snapping a picture! Of course, Ashby was so intrigued with her yogurt that she wasn't even fazed by this big thing hanging out of her nose. Gotta love her!
* Ashby has been quite the pistol these past few days. She has really been testing Marc & I and we are about to rip out our hair over all of the crazy stuff she has been doing . Really not lovin' the terrible 2's at the moment! It is a good thing she is so adorable!
* One of the lovely (please note my sarcasm) things she has been doing is trying to escape out doors. The door to the garage & the front door are two of her favorites. We had to bust out these:
Ha, ha! Now see if you can get out Houdini! Ashby did not like that these were installed on the doors.
Neither did Kennedy. Poor thing always gets punished because of Ashby's antics. Let me just note that Kennedy NEVER tried to do this. She was such an obedient little girl. We told her 'no' & she listened. Ashby, not so much. We tell her 'no' and she smiles & does it anyways. I tell you, these girls are like night & day!
* And look what hubby got me today 'just because'. Love my new phone & LOVE him!
Sad to see the weekend come to an end. Why do they always go so fast? Now off to relax with hubby, eat some ice cream & watch Amazing Race. Good night!

Good work Marcie...good hubby points!
