Rain Is (NOT) A Good Thing!

We are huge fans of country music. We listen to country in the car, at home on Country Music Television (CMT), on the iPod, etc. We listen to country whenever & wherever we can.

One of the girls' favorite songs is 'Rain Is A Good Thing' by Luke Bryan. Of course not for what the song says/means (thank goodness!), but they love when he sings 'rain is a good thing' throughout the song. Every time Luke Bryan sings that part, Kennedy immediately responds with 'rain IS NOT a good thing!'

Living in the Pacific Northwest we get A LOT of rain. Too much, in fact. Yes, rain is what gets us our beautiful, green, amazing summers. But lordy, rain day after day gets OLD! Especially this time of year. It is March, but living in the PNW we know we have a good 2+ months left of gloomy, rainy, dark days. Here is what our future forecast looks like courtesy of the weather channel website:

Rain, rain, & more rain. I guess I should be jumping up & down because there is only a 50% of rain on Friday, and 40% on Saturday and Sunday??!! And that I see a little sliver of sun on Friday's forecast??!! But truthfully, all I really see in the above forecast is RAIN! And it is depressing!

So sorry Luke Bryan...Rain is NOT A Good Thing!!!
